Satyadarshin is a compound, Sanskrit word meaning something like “he who investigates the truth”. I have been a member of the Triratna Buddhist Order since 2001. I work from studio space at Document in St Judes, Bristol, and can be found there in office hours. At other times, much to my own surprise, I'm a regular in my local gym's weights room. My personal illustration practice is detail driven and explores structure and perspective. Unsurprisingly I am curious, patient, and persistent about it. Guilty pleasures include: hunting through charity shops for classic films on DVD; being a coffee snob; reading until late in my local with a pint of quirkily named real ale.
