A Content Management System (CMS) is a type of Web-based software designed to compose, organise, store, and publish all common visual media, usually as a website. There is usually a public, visitor-facing front-end presented by a layout theme, and a login-protected admin backend with a range of editing and organising tools. WordPress and Drupal are two common models of CMS.
